Your journey, your choices. Arrows - Escape Puzzle is an Android puzzle game. This policy explains how information is handled when you play, view ads, make purchases, enable reminders or contact us.
You can play without creating an app account. Game progress is saved on your device. Advertising and purchase services process some information online, as explained below.
1. Information handled by the app
- Game data: levels completed, stars, coins, companions, achievements, daily challenge history, saved puzzles, settings and reward/ad counters are stored on your device to operate the game and preserve progress. The app does not provide cloud synchronization of this progress.
- Reminder preferences: whether reminders are enabled, your chosen time and scheduling information are stored locally. Your device’s time zone is used to schedule reminders at the appropriate local time.
- Advertising and purchase data: Google and RevenueCat process the information described in Sections 2 and 3.
- Support messages: if you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, such as a problem description, screenshots or a purchase support identifier. We use this to respond and troubleshoot.
Gameplay does not require your name, email address or an app login. The app does not request access to your contacts, microphone, camera, photos or precise GPS location. Advertising services may infer a general location from your IP address.
The current app does not include a separate Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics integration. Advertising and purchase services can still process usage and diagnostic information.
2. Advertising — Google AdMob
Arrows - Escape Puzzle uses Google AdMob for banner, interstitial and optional rewarded ads. Google’s advertising SDK processes data such as IP addresses, advertising and other device/account identifiers, app/ad interactions and diagnostic information. Google uses this information to deliver and measure ads, analyze service performance and detect fraud.
Ad personalization depends on your choices, region and applicable requirements. Google’s consent tools present privacy messages where required. Open Settings → Privacy choices to review the available controls, including Google’s regional privacy form when available and the app’s Use non-personalized ads preference.
Non-personalized ads can still involve data processing for delivery, measurement, security and fraud prevention. You may also reset or delete your advertising ID through Android’s privacy settings, where supported.
Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
3. Purchases — Google Play and RevenueCat
Google Play processes in-app payments. RevenueCat helps verify purchases, manage the lifetime ad-removal entitlement and restore an existing purchase. No Arrows - Escape Puzzle account or login is required; RevenueCat assigns a pseudonymous app user identifier, sometimes described as an anonymous ID.
Purchase processing involves information such as product identifiers, purchase tokens, transaction and entitlement status, the app user identifier, and technical information about the app/device and its use. We do not ask RevenueCat to associate this identifier with your name or email address. An identifier can still be personal data even when your real name is not attached.
We do not receive your full payment-card number or banking credentials through the app. The lifetime purchase removes banner and interstitial ads. Optional rewarded ads remain available if you choose to watch them.
You can use Settings → Restore purchases with the Google Play account used for the original purchase. Clearing local data does not automatically delete store transactions or purchase records.
Read Google’s Privacy Policy and RevenueCat’s privacy information. RevenueCat processes app end-user information on our behalf; contact us about requests concerning that information.
4. Optional daily reminders
Daily reminders are off by default. If you enable them, the app requests notification permission where required and schedules local notifications about relevant activities, such as puzzles, companion rescues, Zen mode or your sanctuary.
Reminder content is selected using your locally saved progress. This feature does not send your game progress or reminder preferences to a push-notification server. You can change the time or turn reminders off in Settings → Daily reminders, or block notifications in Android’s app settings.
The app schedules at most one reminder per future local day, starting the next day. The schedule refreshes when you return and stops after 30 days away. Android may delay delivery to save battery.
6. Storage, retention and deletion
On your device: game progress and preferences remain until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall it. This can permanently remove levels, coins, companions and saved puzzles. We do not hold a cloud copy of that progress to restore.
Purchase and service records: information may be retained as necessary to verify and restore purchases, maintain service security, resolve disputes and meet legal requirements. Deleting the app does not automatically delete records held by Google, RevenueCat or other service providers.
Support correspondence: we retain information as needed to handle your request and related follow-up, security or legal obligations. You can ask us to delete information we control, subject to applicable exceptions.
For a deletion request involving RevenueCat, contact us and include your app purchase support ID if available. Please do not send passwords or full payment-card details. We may request limited additional information to verify the request and locate the relevant record. Deleting purchase-related records may affect purchase verification or restoration; we will explain relevant consequences before acting.
7. Your privacy choices and rights
- Review available advertising consent and personalization controls in the app’s Privacy choices.
- Enable, disable or change daily reminders in the app and Android notification settings.
- Clear local game data through Android’s app storage settings or uninstall the app.
- Contact us about access, correction, deletion or other requests concerning information we control.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of targeted advertising or certain disclosures. Withdrawing consent does not undo earlier lawful processing. You may also have a right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Where a legal basis is required, processing may rely on providing the requested game or purchase services, consent for processing that requires it, legitimate interests such as security and support, or compliance with legal obligations. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law.
8. Security and international processing
Local app data is stored within Android’s app storage protections. Our integrated advertising and billing services use encrypted connections for data transmission. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Google, RevenueCat and their service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Applicable protections and transfer arrangements depend on the provider and relevant privacy law. See the linked provider information for details.
9. Children’s privacy
Parents and guardians should review the app’s store listing, advertising features, purchase controls and this policy before allowing a child to use the app. The game does not ask players to enter a date of birth or create a personal profile.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app or a support message in circumstances requiring parental consent, please contact us. We will review the concern and take appropriate steps, including seeking deletion of information we control or process through our providers where required.
10. This page and external links
This privacy page is hosted on GitHub Pages. We have not added advertising, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, cookies or external fonts to this page. GitHub may process technical request information, such as your IP address, to provide and secure its hosting service. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.
When you follow an external link, the destination service’s own privacy terms apply.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when app features, service providers or privacy requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent before applying a material change.
